I bought this lovely vinaigrette from a local farmers market recently and have only used it as a salad dressing.
So I looked up what else to use it with, and found a recipe for grilled peaches. Ah what the heck, I’m an adventurous chick.
1/2 cup plus 2 tsp honey or agave
3 tbsp balsamic vinegar
1 tbsp vanilla extract
1/4 cup water
Mix honey, vinegar, vanilla and water in a bowl.
Cut the peaches in half and remove the pits. Don’t cut off any digits, this is a dangerous step.
Look how cool!
Heat up the grill and cook for 4 minutes each side. Don’t over cook or you could end up with mooshy peaches.
Serve with ice cream and glaze with the liquid mix to taste.
Zest with the lemon and gobble up!
