Only do this if you are patient and plan on being home for like 10 hours. Oh and if you love fruit rollups.
2 bags of frozen peaches
1 pag frozen cherries
1 cup water
sugar if preferred
Place fruit in a pot.
Cover and boil for 15 minutes.
Once time is up, squish fruit with a potato masher.
Remove from heat and let cool for a few. Get out your food processor.
Blend until smooth and no chunks are left. If using sugar add it to taste now.
Prep 2 pans with parchment paper.
Distribute goop between them.
Spread out with a spatula and cut off the extra paper.
Now original recipe said bake at 150 degrees for 8 to 10 hours. My oven only goes as low as 200 degrees. Do what you are able to. I cooked @ 200 degrees for 6 hours. When it’s no longer sticky to the touch, it’s ready.
Peel from paper and slice into srips.
Funny story. These were so good I forgot I made 2 pans. If you let it sit out and dry overnight, this is what happens. Not cool.
Anyway fun little snack. I’m sure buying an already made fruit rollup is more satisfying, but this was still a fun experiment with what we did get to try.
