Overnight Oatmeal

I love when breakfast is ready for me when I wake up. Please try this.

1/4 cup oats

1/3 cup milk

1/4 cup Greek yogurt

1 1/2 tsp chia seeds

1 tsp honey

The ingredients listed above make one serving. I will be making 4 so I can share. So before you put your jammies on, gather all the goods and prepare breakfast. Five minutes required. Toss oats in a mason jar.

Pour in the mickey. That’s what Bee used to call it when she was little. Forgive me, it’s a tough month ahead her last few weeks of elementary school. Sniff sniff, but back to breakfast.

Add yogurt. Don’t worry if you make a mess inside the jar.

Toss in the chia seeds. Yes, these are the same seeds that make cha cha cha Chia Pets. They are also good for you.

Now the honey.

Put a lid on it. Now take all your aggression out on the jar and shake the crap out of it.

All you do now is place in the fridge and take your tush to bed.

In the morning, it will have thickened up. Pour into a bowl. Toss in some nuts or fruit if that makes you happy. Eat.

Dom loved it, Bee ate it slow. That means she does not like it. You can’t please everyone.
