I’ve never seen black rice before and I can’t wait to share with all of you who also haven’t. Let me tell you they don’t have this in the minute variety so you are actually going to have to cook the rice 🙂
2 cups black rice
4 cups broth
1 tbsp olive oil
Bring broth to a boil. Add oil and rice.
Bring temp to a simmer and cover. Cook for 55 minutes. I left and went to Bumza while the rice cooked. So fluffy.
Place a little olive oil in a wok and cook some chicken.
Add some veg.
And some more.
And some shelled edamame.
1 tbsp of toasted sesame oil. The greatest condiment ever invented.
1/4 cup mirin.
Add some of the rice. I used one cup and saved the rest for later.
Stir up, then eat up. Love a healthy dinner. Sprinkle with sesame seeds.
