Peach Cobbler As Bread

Who doesn’t like peach cobbler? If you say you don’t, I’d bet you would eat this anyway. I’m in the mood to convert someone into a fruit fan. Let just start by saying I always follow a recipe like it says. If I make it again, I always change it up. If I were to make this again I would prefer a real jucy peach instead of the canned kind.

2 cans sliced peaches, reserve 1/2 cup peach juice

5 tbsp melted butter

3 eggs

1 tbsp vanilla

2 cups flour

1 cup sugar

1 1/2 tsp baking powder

1/4 tsp baking soda

1/4 tsp salt

1 tsp cinnamon plus extra for a topping

Get the oven nice and toasty at 350 degrees. Mix 1 can of drained peaches, juice, butter, eggs and vanilla in a belnder.

Get a bowl and mix in the flour, sugar, baking powder and soda, salt and cinnamon.

Combine the puree and the dry ingredients.

Place in a greased loaf pan.

Garnish with the remaining peaches and sprinkle on a little brown sugar. Oh snap I drooling already, Dom sure is in for a huge surprise.

Bake for 55 minutes or until the center is cooked.

Slice and eat warm. Add a dollop of whip cream if you’re feeling sassy.
