Who’s ready to stuff some balls? Oh yeah, meatballs!
2 tbsp olive oil
1 pound ground meat (I used beef but I’m dying to try these with turkey)
1/2 cup onion chopped small
1/2 cup panko bread crumbs
1/2 cup parmesan cheese
1/4 cup milk
3 minced garlic cloves
1 tbsp worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp yellow mustard
1 tsp hot sauce – tabasco or sriracha
1/2 tsp kosher salt
1/4 tsp peppa
1/4 tsp garlic salt
10 small mozzarella balls!
Before I say anything else, can we have a moment to stare at these marvelous balls. Just beautiful!
Alright, stop staring at my balls! Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Mix everything but the balls in a bowl. Oh snap, this looks like a culinary crime scene.
This is how it should look when all mixed up.
Now form balls with the meat mix. Press a lil hole in the center of each.
Place your little ball in the big ball.
Close it up! Sorry for some of the bad pics. I was pretty hungry so I rushed.
Now I had an idea that seemed brilliant at the time. Use these leftover juices from the cheese balls to top the meatballs. It really created too much grease that was so not necessary. I recommend saving it for a drizzle on pasta or whatever you are servin’ the balls with.
Bake for 35 min until cooked. Prepare for dinner euphoria.
