I need more things to do with Matcha since I got a giant tub from the asian market a few weeks back. Insert my matcha green tea dreams here ….. Let’s make a single serving for ourselves because some people might be afraid of the green power you are about to recieve.
Fruit of choice – we used blueberries, srawberries & mango mmmmmm
1 cup of vanilla honey greek yogurt
1 tbsp of light agave nectar
1 tsp to 2 tsp of matcha green tea powder (depends how much green tea flavor you want)
Get a small bowl, add 1/2 cup of the yogurt and the matcha.
Stir a little and add the agave.
Do not be alarmed by the vomit look in the bowl. I promise it tastes phenomenal.
Now you can finish off one of two ways.
Layer 4 tbsp of flaxseed meal to similate pie crustness, layer reserved white yogurt, top with green tea yogurt and add fruit of choice. My first attempt had me using apples since that was all I had. This was so good I almost went back for seconds.
If you don’t need help going number 2, you can settle for the other version.
Place fruit of choice in a bowl, layer reserved white yogurt, top with green tea yogurt, place a few reserved pieces of fruit on top and sprankle on some flax. Oooh purty!
What a great way to have dessert without feeling guilty.
