Had some leftover wonton wrappers from a few recipes ago, and I don’t like to waste food. What to do with these little suckers? Duh, make breakfast!
24 wonton wrappers
olive oil spray
7 whole eggs
1/2 cup milk
2 sausage links, we used chicken sausage, sliced
1/2 cup shredded cheese
fresh chives, sliced fine
Add some kind of veg like spinach or red pepper too. I didn’t have any that wasn’t decomposing or I would have.
Preheat your ov to 350 degrees and get a muffin pan. Coat the pan with the olive oil spray, no skimping! Lay out 2 wonton wrappers per muffin cup.
Place a few slices of sausage in each muffin cup.
Beat eggs, milk and salt-n-pepa together. Scoop the goop into each cup, and sprankle with cheese.
Bake for 15 minutes until nice and bubbly.
Resist the urge to dive right in. Go distract yourself so they can cool for 5 minutes.
Sprinkle with chives and serve warm.
These are perfect for fixing the night before if needed. Your kids will thank you for this yummy food. I have never seen breakfast eaten so fast.
