Dulce De Leche

For my peeps who can’t pronounce the delcioushness I’m about to show you, say this with me slowly …. duel-say day lay-chay. If you still can’t say it right, please continue on to another of my previous posts, do not pass go, do not make dulce de leche. If you said it right, proceed to the below.

6 small mason jars – these shown are about 5oz each

four 14 oz cans of sweetened condensed milk (Use Eagle Brand if you want it to be GF)

Fill the jars up leaving about an inch of empty space at the top. Try to get more milk in the jar instead of the counter like I did.

Now seal them up with the lids and place in a deep crockpot.

Fill crock pot with water. You want at least an inch of water over the jars, so you will most likely be filling up the entire crock pot. If you have a smaller crock pot, cook 3 at a time an lie them down sideways. Either way works. Cooking more at a time allows you to share with your friends if you learned how to share when you were a kid.

Cook on low for 9 to 10 hours and this is what you’ll get …..

Serve in coffee or use as a fruit dip or freely enjoy from the jar on it’s own. It rocks and that is all you need to know.
